late June 2010

As June ended, the temperature rose to summer heights, and Chichester took on color: day lilies in their lush oranges, the sky in its cerulean blue, plants and trees and lawns in splendid green.
The community grounds have recovered from the harsh winter.
Remains of last summer's bonfire: surely seasoned wood.
The swimming hole is ready.
But, the water level is down severely.
